Elder Alan and Cathy Creach
Alan and Cathy have been actively involved in the ministry of Greenacres Baptist Church since 1984.
Cathy is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, while Alan grew up in Spokane Valley. Both Alan and Cathy are graduates of Oklahoma Baptist University with degrees from the Business School. Cathy’s ministry has focused on children’s ministry and finances. They work side by side managing their family owned greenhouse and nursery located in Spokane Valley.
Alan’s ministry has included Adult Sunday School teaching, Adult ministries, Music, and Youth Programs. Currently Alan is teaching Adult Bible classes, functions as the missions liaison with Greenacres Baptist Church's two mission churches in North Idaho, and is an Elder at GBC.
Alan trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior at the age of 11, and developed a real passion for evangelism and ministry while in his early 20’s.
Alan and Cathy have 5 adult children. Over the years the Lord has allowed Alan to use many outdoor activities to reach Men, Women, and Youth through preaching and teaching the gospel in Congregational and Worship settings as well as Youth Camps and Adult retreats.
Alan enjoys the outdoors and observes that, “God has given us countless earthly examples and illustrations within creation to understand Biblical principles and truth."
Alan has been blessed to discover some of these truths and to share them with others.

Elder Denny and Cathie Stuhlmiller
September 1, 2021 at 8:21 pm my Lord and Savior saw fit to call home his daughter and my life partner of 48 years. I was so blessed to have Cathie Ann Stuhlmiller as my life partner, she was placed in my life by our God, I know and believe that and now she has a heavenly address. Cathie battled some serious health issues the past 4 or so years and was doing well and we seen answered prayers come to her and myself, yet she fell ill the last week of August and I believe that this time the Lord answered her prayers, and took away her pain and suffering. I love her and miss her and always will, until Heaven comes for me.
Now through God's Grace, Blessings, and Love the healing has started. I told God that I will serve him in what ever ministry he wants me to serve him in [as long as it is not in a mission field]. I will remain as an Elder as long as the Church sees fit to have me serve them in that capacity. I want to continue sharing in the Sunday morning Senior Bible class and look forward to starting up the Wednesday night Senior Fellowship group. Where God leads my hope is to follow.

Elder Jerry & Rebecca Eichner
Rebecca and I moved to Greenacres in July of 2020 to retire close to our youngest son, Jesse, and his family. We have four children and 11 grandchildren. Rebecca and I were both born in Portland, Oregon. Rebecca’s family were missionaries in Peru, South America. I was raised outside the big town of Boring, Oregon. I was baptized at the age of 12, but recommitted my life to serving the Lord in 1976 while attending a swing shift Bible study at our local church. Rebecca grew up in a Christian home serving God. We attended several churches during my career in the wood products industry. I am officially a sawmill Gypsy, although I did teach elementary education for seven years. After raising our family, Rebecca held several jobs following me around sawmills including medical assistant, florist shop, tax preparer, home health care, and Tree Top. Our church experience includes kids’ Sunday school teacher, Awanas, children’s church, youth groups, youth mentors, and now the cleaning crew at GBC. At the beginning of our marriage our first pastor advised us to find a local Bible believing, Bible teaching church and get involved. So that is what we are doing.
